Vision Statement

We are called to live the new life in Christ, to love God, love others and
fulfill Christ’s mission in the world by proclaiming the Good News of Jesus
Christ to the Hmong and Asians, and convert them from Ancestral worship to
worship the creator God and Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.

Mission Statement

Live the New Life in Christ by the grace of God and the forgiveness of sins through Christ Jesus, our Savior. We are renewed, redeemed, saved by grace
and washed by the blood of Christ. Marked with the cross of Christ and sealed with the Holy Spirit for the sake of the world.

Love God with all our heart, soul, mind and strength and love one another as Jesus had commanded.  Gather together to worship and praise God in unity with His people and to be a witness of Christ's death and resurrection for the sake of the world.

Love others by loving our neighbor as ourselves and to love one another as
Christ loves the church. We are called to clothe the naked, feed the hungry, give water to the thirsty, welcome the stranger, care for the sick, visit the prisoner and to bring peace and justice to all people.

Fulfill Christ's Mission by proclaiming the Good News of Jesus Christ to the Hmong and to all people in the La Crosse area and to the uttermost part of the world, and to bring them out of the darkness into the light, by grace thought faith to worship the creator God and Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.

Four Base Vision

Scriptures for the Vision Statement

The circle in the center is representative of Christ being the center of our daily life.  He is the center of our lives in everything we do.  "For in Christ we live and move and have our being."          (Acts 17:28)

Christ Center

yet for us there is but one God, the Father, from whom all things came and for whom we live; and there is but one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things came and through whom we live.
(1 Corinthians 8:6)

20 I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. (Galatians 2:20)

The middle circle represents how we live our private life in relation to God and to each other.  We can live a Godly and righteous life both in public and private life with God's help.  To live a Godly life, we ought to read the Bible daily, pray and have fellowship with God.

Live the Godly Life

1 Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God-- this is your spiritual act of worship. 2 Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is-- his good, pleasing and perfect will. (Romans 12:1-2)

Read the Bible

1 Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked or stand in the way of sinners or sit in the seat of mockers. 2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD, and on his law he meditates day and night. (Psalms  1:1-2)

16 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness,
17 so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. (2 Timothy 3:16-17)

105 Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path. (Psalms 119:105)

Prayer

6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.  7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:6-7)

18 And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints. (Ephesians 6:18)

16 Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective. (James 5:16)

2 Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful. (Colossians 4:2)

Fellowship / Communion

5 "I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. 6 If anyone does not remain in me, he is like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned. 7 If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be given you. (John 15:5-7)

19 And he took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, "This is my body given for you; do this in remembrance of me." 20 In the same way, after the supper he took the cup, saying, "This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you. (Luke 22:19-20)

9 "As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love.  10 If you obey my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have obeyed my Father's commands and remain in his love. (John 15:9-10)

32 All the believers were one in heart and mind. No one claimed that any of his possessions was his own, but they shared everything they had. (Acts 4:32)

3 We proclaim to you what we have seen and heard, so that you also may have fellowship with us. And our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ. (I John 1:3)

14 May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all. (2 Corinthians 13:14)

7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin. (I John 1:7)

The outer circle is our principles, it is our visions and tasks.  We are called to live the new life in Christ, to love God, love other and fulfilled Christ mission in the world.

Live the New Life in Christ

Therefore if any man is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come. (2 Corinthians 5:17)

9 who has saved us and called us to a holy life-- not because of anything we have done but because of his own purpose and grace. This grace was given us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of time, (2 Timothy 1:9)

Love God

Oh Israel, the Lord our God the Lord is one. You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart with all your soul and with all your mind. (2 Chronicles 4:5,6)

Jesus reply, love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength. This is the first and greatest commandment. The second is like it, love your neighbor as yourself. (Matthew 20:40)

Love Other

Do not murder," "Do not steal," "Do not covet," and whatever other commandment there may be, are summed up in this one rule: "Love your neighbor as yourself." Romans 13:9

12 My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. 13 Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends. 14 You are my friends if you do what I command. (John 15:12-14)

Fulfilled Christ Mission

But when the Holy Spirit comes upon you, you will be filled with power, and you will be witnesses for me in Jerusalem, in all of Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth. (Acts 1:8)

19 "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." (Matt 28:19-20)

Life in the church

33 With great power the apostles continued to testify to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and much grace was upon them all. 34 There were no needy persons among them. For from time to time those who owned lands or houses sold them, brought the money from the sales 35 and put it at the apostles' feet, and it was distributed to anyone as he had need.  36 Joseph, a Levite from Cyprus, whom the apostles called Barnabas (which means Son of Encouragement),  37 sold a field he owned and brought the money and put it at the apostles' feet.   (Acts 4:33-37)

18 And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy. 19 For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him,
20 and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross. (Colosians 1:18-20)

We Believe the Apostles' Creed

I believe in God, the Father almighty,
creator of heaven and earth.

I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord.
He was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit
and born of the virgin Mary.
He suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died, and was buried.
He descended into hell.*
On the third day he rose again.
He ascended into heaven,
and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
He will come again to judge the living and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the holy catholic Church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and the life everlasting. Amen.
